Canine Country Club & Grooming, LLC ("we", "us") runs cccgrooming.com in Edwardsburg, Michigan. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, book with us or pay online, and how we use and protect it. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Contact details you give us: name, email, phone number and mailing address.
Pet details: your dog's name, breed, age, vaccination records, health and behavior notes, and care instructions.
Booking and account history: stays, playcare days, grooming appointments, packages, invoices and payments.
Messages you send us through our website forms, the website chat, email or text.
Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and referring site, collected automatically through cookies and similar tools.

We do not collect or store full credit or debit card numbers. Card details are entered on our payment processor's secure checkout (see Online payments).

How we use it

To book, provide and manage boarding, playcare and grooming for your dog.
To keep your dog safe: checking vaccinations and following your care, feeding and medical instructions.
To take payments, apply packages and credits, and send receipts and invoices.
To answer your questions and send appointment reminders and service updates.
To understand how our website is used and improve it and our advertising.
To meet legal, tax, insurance and accounting requirements.

Online payments

Payments on our website are processed by Square through our Wix website's secure checkout. Square receives your card details directly. We see only the payment amount, the last four digits of your card, and the name and contact details you enter. Square's handling of your payment information is covered by Square's Privacy Notice.

When you start a payment form, we receive your form answers even if you do not finish paying. We use them only to follow up on that request.

Services we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only what each one needs. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.

Wix hosts our website, forms, chat and checkout. It receives form answers, chat messages and website usage. (Wix privacy policy)
Square processes card payments and invoices. It receives payment and contact details. (Square privacy notice)
PAW Partner is our booking and client records system. It receives contact, pet, vaccine and booking details.
Google provides website analytics and ad measurement. It receives website usage through cookies. (Google privacy policy)
Our business phone and text provider sends and receives texts with clients. It receives phone numbers and message content.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect the safety of people or animals, or with professional advisers such as our accountant, insurer or attorney.

Cookies, analytics and ads

Our website uses cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your choices, and measure visits. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to see which pages and ads bring people to our site. Google may use cookies to show our ads to people who have visited our site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on, and manage ad personalization in Google's Ad Settings. Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

Text messages and the website chat

Texts. If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your appointments, stays, your dog's care and your account. We do not send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. We do not share your mobile number or text consent with anyone for their marketing.

Website chat. The chat on our website is an automated assistant that answers common questions. What you type is stored by Wix and may be read by our staff to follow up. Please do not enter card numbers, passwords or private health information in the chat.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable providers with secure, encrypted connections, and limit access to client records to staff who need them for your dog's care or your account. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep client and pet records for as long as you are a client and afterward as long as needed for legal, tax, insurance and accounting purposes.

Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and contact

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop texts or emails. Some records we must keep for legal, tax or safety reasons, such as payment history and vaccination records tied to past stays.

We may update this policy. The current version will always be on this page with its effective date.
